I have a tattoo on my left shoulder blade that Ive had for about 12 years. Im getting married at the end of this year and really want to get rid of it- cant think of anything worse than a beautiful wedding dress with a tattoo on my shoulder- YUK! Does anyone have any information on products available that actually work- Ive tried Tattoo Off and it didnt work at all- a complete waste of $100.
i have no advice of how you could personally remove your own tattoounless you are willing to dish out some cash then thats a different story, laser removal use "dermatat" to cover it up for your wedding it's awesome.
The only real thing that works is laser removal. It hurts but the good news is that they have found better ways of removing the tattoos with little or no scaring.
...As far as I'm concerned, tattoos are permanent. You can try to cover them up with skin makeup, though. You should have thought of this before you got your tattoo.
Thats a shame! To be honest the best thing is laser removal and it is pretty costly. If your tattoo is colored and you do get it removed by laser it doesn't always 'completely' go away but it would remove most of it. If it's just black ink then the laser treatment would remove it.I'm sure no matter what you'll have a fab wedding!
