Lemon and salt will not get tattoos removed

i have a small tattoo its like an inch up and inch going across its indian ink.....i want to remove it because it looks stupid i was 13 at the time and dumb obviously....ive heard of tat b gone does it really work......also when i went to my tattoo artist because i got one on my lower back he said but salt on it and rub it in with a lemon and other ways like sea salt or just rubbing salt on the skin.... does anyone know if this could really work or know anyways....thanx for answering and please no smart remarkes like "oh well you shouldnt of gotten it done in the first place".....serious answers please thanks so much.....

Lasers are the only way to get rid of a tattoo. And laser treatment isn't necessarily perfect. You might be better off to cover it up with a tattoo you like better.

i dont think lemon and salt will actually get it removed!!the most obvious thing to do is get it lasered off.i had to get mine off because of an allergic reaction. i went to a cheap place for like $300. i think other places are more. but all they do is put this kind of plastic over where your tat is and laser it... took me a couple of hours since it was small.and it did hurt a little!!after theres little left but it will fade away in no time.but yea, hope i helped.

indeed this is a growing problem with people that do this type of thing when they are young I would say the best thing is to get it covered over with something else might be a little less painful than rubbing salt on your skin.

Apparently they can tattoo glycolic acid into your tattoo which lifts the ink out, but I don't know where they do this. Maybe you could ask a doctor for a recommendation, I think its pretty easy to botch a removal and so they may know where not to go.
